Candidate Requirements
The AICE Diploma is a “group” diploma which requires the study of subjects from three curriculum areas as well as the core component, Cambridge International AS Level Global Perspectives & Research:
1.Mathematics and Science
2.Languages
3.Arts and Humanities

The Cambridge and Mandarin High School portfolio of advanced qualifications offers a wide range of subjects in the three curriculum areas. Students must study one subject from each group and an additional three of the student’s choosing. Within this framework AICE offers a flexible curriculum that can be tailored to individual students’ abilities and future plans. In addition, Cambridge has introduced a separately certificated research project option in the AICE Diploma that aims to encourage the skills of independent research and investigation, the use of initiative and creativity, and the applications of skills and knowledge. Research project topics are available in a wide range of subjects, replace course work components within a subject, and are marked by examiners at Cambridge International Examinations.
